Retail Project: Scottrade in Honolulu, HI
Recently, Buildrite completed our first project in Hawaii, completing a 5 week project for Scottrade in Honolulu. Scottrade is a stock trading company, and this is one of many reimages Buildrite has performed for them. Scottrade is located on the ground floor of one of the Pacific Guardian Center towers, known as the Mauka Tower. These towers are LEED certified, which means they were built with “green” practices in mind. This, coupled with the location in Hawaii, meant that Buildrite needed to plan ahead several weeks to get the materials to the site on time. In addition, Scottrade is required to stay open during trading hours, which subsequently necessitated a night-time construction schedule. Night-time construction has a set of challenges, but Buildrite quickly discovered a couple low cement slabs where offices were planned. With some clever rearranging of the floor plan, Buildrite is pleased to state the space is newly reimaged and looking fantastic. Project Type: Retail Location: Honolulu, HI Size: 2,181 SF Project Duration: 5 Weeks Services: demo, glass partition coordination, framing/drywall for walls and soffits, flooring, painting, electrical, fire sprinkler and fire alarm. Vision: Reimage of old office-space, continuing the standard set by LEED certification at the location [Best_Wordpress_Gallery id="10" gal_title="Scottrade in Honolulu, HI"] [blue-quote]
